These fasteners are made using at least 30% recycled polypropylene (rPP) derived from single-use take-out containers. The environmental benefits created by using these tagging fasteners can be impactful.

• Every outer carton of fasteners reduces the landfill load by more than 2.72 lbs (1.236kg) of single-use plastic take-out containers 

• Customers using over 100 million fasteners annually can reduce the landfill load by more than 5,448 lbs (2.471 kg) of plastic take-out containers each year

• Customers using over 1 billion fasteners annually can reduce the landfill load by more than 54,480 lbs (24.711 kg) of plastic take-out containers each year 

Brands and retailers can utilize existing tools to apply these new recycled fasteners. The rPP fasteners are designed to maximize our recycled content while maintaining the product performance customers need. The fasteners meet the same specifications as our virgin fasteners, including our production parameters. Maintaining the same production processes ensures that customers can get all of the benefits of using recycled content, without any carbon emission increase in production.
